Here’s the Summer 2018 update from the Type Pro team. It’s been a busy few months for us here, so we thought we’d run through some of our news.
Our in-house courses continue to run at a pace, with record numbers coming through this year and many more planned as the year goes on. We’ve welcomed our first students from Asia this year, with Type Pros created in China, Singapore, Thailand, Indonesia, Vietnam, Japan, Korea, The Philippines and Australia. That’s alongside continuing work in North America, Latin America and Europe.
We’ve also completed our second public course in the UK, with another to come in the autumn. More on that later! We also have our first public course scheduled in the US later this year, and our first public course in Australia scheduled for next year.
Type Pro Ed
It’s also been a busy time for Type Pro Ed this year. After piloting last year, we’ve worked with the ever-brilliant Jane Kise to help 12 educators to become Type Pros. They will be using their insights in the classroom to help students with all different types to enjoy their learning. We’re going to be scheduling a TypePro Ed course in the UK soon too. We feel that this is a hugely important area to be working in and we’re delighted to continue to offer educators a subsidised and tailored Type Pro programme.
So thanks to all the great people that we’ve met so far this year, and to the brilliant folks in the Type Pro team who have made it all possible.
